An Atlanta car salesman is ready to buy a new car of his own, and a house to go with it, after winning a quarter-million dollar lottery prize.
Bernard English, 34, won the $250,000 prize playing the Millionaire Jumbo Bucks instant game, Georgia Lottery officials said Wednesday.
“I had that lucky feeling in my gut,” English said. “I saw $250, then the three zeroes that followed.
English bought the winning ticket at the CITGO Food Mart on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway in Atlanta. He claimed his prize Tuesday at Georgia Lottery headquarters.
English said he plans to buy a home and car with his winnings.
“It feels good,” he said.
The Millionaire Jumbo Bucks game awards prizes up to $5 million.
