Loganville will open its new City Hall in the former Loganville Elementary School on July 17.

The city decided to move their headquarters from the current location at 4385 Pecan St. after Walton County School District opened a new elementary school, closing the old building, a city press release said.

More city departments and services will be under the same roof at the new location on 4303 Lawrenceville Highway. The Code Enforcement and Fire Marshall’s offices will join City Hall operations in the old school building, the release said.

City Council meetings won’t change locations just yet. Work to complete the new council chambers is still ongoing and meetings are expected to move in August, the release said.
