Lilburn residents will only need to make one elected official choice this Nov. Incumbent Mayor Johnny Crist and Council Member Lindsay Voight have qualified with no opposition for their positions. Voters will need to choose between incumbent Council Member Scott Batterton and challenger John Patrick Abellera.

Lilburn residents will also vote Nov. 5 for or against the ‘Sunday Brunch Bill’ that will allow Sunday sales of distilled spirits and/or alcoholic beverages by the drink from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The last day to register and be eligible to vote in this election will be Oct. 7. Advanced (absentee in-person) voting begins 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Oct. 14 through Nov. 1. The polls will be open on Election Day from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. at Lilburn City Hall, 340 Main St.
