DeKalb Technical College recently announced the graduation of 24 recruits in its law enforcement academy.

The 17-week program ends with basic law enforcement certification from the Georgia Peace Officer Standards and Training Council. Graduates also receive 59 credits toward and associate degree in criminal justice.

The class graduated last week. More than half are already employed by various law enforcement agencies in the region.
