The Georgia Department of Transportation will roll out lane closures for a portion of Interstate 575 in Cobb County.

One right lane and the right shoulder on both the northbound and southbound sides of I-575 from North Booth Road to Hawkins Store Road will be closed each night from 9 p.m. Friday, March 1 to 5 a.m. Sunday, March 3.

Georgia DOT said the closures, which are weather dependent, are needed so workers can replace bridge joints and install co-polymer on the structures over North Booth, Bells Ferry and Hawkins Store roads.
