The city of LaGrange is holding a public meeting to take comments from the public on the proposed plans for Eastside Park 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 8 at LaGrange City Council Chambers, 208 Ridley Avenue, LaGrange. This will be a part of the LaGrange City Council’s regular meeting, according to a press release.

City Manager Meg Kelsey recently mailed a letter to residents living in the area inviting them to participate in the meeting. The plan provides for a hillside playground, new basketball courts, disc golf course, and new landscaping.

Eastside Park is located adjacent to the second segment of The Thread. The public is encouraged to attend this meeting and make any comments or suggestions to staff.
