Two juveniles have been arrested for allegedly vandalizing and setting a fire at a Cobb County middle school.

Someone who arrived at Lost Mountain Middle School in Kennesaw early Saturday for a lacrosse game reported that a trailer near the school was burning, school district spokesman Jay Dillon told the AJC. Investigators determined the trailer had been been burning all night, Dillon said.

"It was totally destroyed," Dillon said.

Nothing else burned, however, because "that portable is off on its own," Dillon said.

Fourteen windows were busted with rocks on the sixth-grade wing of the school, Dillon said.

Both juveniles, whose names have not been released, will face felony charges of criminal damage to property and first-degree arson, Dillon said.

The school system's police department arrested the juveniles Monday, Dillon said.
