The state Judicial Qualifications Commission, which investigates and hears allegations of judicial misconduct, is seeking applications for a new director to lead the agency.

The JQC’s director, Jeff Davis, recently agreed to become the State Bar of Georgia’s next executive director. The agency says it wants to find a replacement this summer. Applicants must be a member of the State Bar with a minimum of 10 years’ experience and submit resumés to Davis at jeff@gajqc.com by 5 p.m. on May 19.
