A popular DeKalb County Chinese spot failed its recent health inspection.
Dim Sum Heaven, located at 5203 Buford Highway in Doraville, received a 69 on the check last week, according to the inspector's report. The restaurant's last score was 92 in October.
Among the issues noted was different types of meat, including beef, chicken and fish, inappropriately stored together. The inspector also complained of food being stored at the wrong temperature.
The inspector instructed employees to remove dead seafood found in live tanks, the report said.
Bao Sy, a manager on duty, said Monday all the issues were corrected and the restaurant was ready for re-inspection.
After a failing score, a re-inspection is normally done within 10 days.
