1 indicted in bleach-balloon attack

Sept 3, 2010The 17-year-old accused of throwing a bleach-filled balloon at a Lilburn student was indicted by a grand jury Friday, Channel 2 Action News has reported.
Juan Carlos Flores and three other boys targeted 14-year-old Miguel Mesa as he walked home from the last day of school in May, police said.
Authorities said the boys told them they just wanted to mess up Mesa’s clothes, but the boy suffered damage to his face and chemical burns on his eyes.
Flores was charged with two counts of aggravated battery.
The three other boys -- -who are students at Meadowcreek High School – will be tried as juveniles, Channel 2 said.
