Newlyweds Nadia and Nathan Odiorne spent the first hours of their honeymoon stuck in airports following a power outage that caused Delta Air Lines to cancel about 1,000 flights Monday.

Well, their travel horrors continued Tuesday morning at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in the face of nearly 300 additional Delta flights canceled.

Passengers such as the Odiornes were stuck in winding, hours-long lines.

Nathan Odiorne said he and his wife had been waiting to access promised vouchers or some form of compensation from Delta for hours.

The couple, married Saturday in the Salt Lake Temple in Utah, were set to fly out Monday for their honeymoon in Hilton Head Island, S.C.

“So our first flight was due to leave Salt Lake at 5 o’clock, and it was delayed two and a half hours,” Nathan Odiorne said.

Their flight did eventually take off, and it landed around 2 a.m. Tuesday in Atlanta.

“And we’ve been in line for about four hours now, trying to get some sort of refund or compensation for our trip,” the husband said.

He added that he and his wife are tired, hungry and frustrated.

“I’ve about lost my mind,” he said.
