Holy Innocents' Episcopal School has announced that longtime educator Gene Bratek will be the school's new headmaster and ninth in school history.
Bratek comes to Holy Innocents' Episcopal from the Marshall School in Duluth, Minn., where he was interim head of school from 2009 to 2010, and Providence Day School in Charlotte, N.C., where he was headmaster from 1986 to 2007. He's also worked at the St. Andrew's School in Savannah and the Rutgers Preparatory School in New Jersey.
He is scheduled to start his duties on March 1.
