A work session on the proposed Fiscal Year 2021 budget will be held by Hiram Mayor Frank Moran and the City Council at 9 a.m. May 16 in the Municipal Annex, 219 Main St., Hiram.

The draft proposed budget of $5.7 million is available at CityOfHiramGa.gov/archive.aspx near the bottom under “2021 Operating Budget, Tax Digest & Millage Rate” to download the pdf document.

An in-person public hearing will be held by the Hiram Mayor and Council - to receive public comment regarding the FY2021 Budget - at 6 p.m. May 26, also in the Municipal Annex.

Anyone wishing to comment on the budget may attend the hearing or submit written comments to City Manager Jody Palmer at jpalmer@hiram-ga.gov or City Clerk Melissa Chosewood at mchosewood@hiram-ga.gov before the meeting.

The FY2021 Budget is scheduled for adoption at 6 p.m. June 2 during the Council’s regular session in the Municipal Annex.
