Henry County's District Attorney's Office has postponed its domestic violence victims' donation drive and National Crime Victims' Rights Week events because of the coronavirus.

The donation drive, which benefits Henry County’s domestic violence shelter Haven House, was supposed to take place in mid-April but is being moved to later this year.

National Crime Victims’ Rights Week is a national movement to promote the rights of and services for victims of crime. This is the third year that Henry’s District Attorney’s Office is collaborating with local organizations to commemorate the week.

Henry District Attorney Darius Pattillo said donation boxes for the donation drive will be redistributed after a new date is set.
