The Henry County Fire Department recently placed two new Class A Fire Engines into service, replacing two older vehicles that are no longer serviceable. The new trucks were purchased from Ferrara Fire Apparatus Inc. of Holden, Louisiana, at a cost of $358,190 each. The older models in the department’s fleet had been in use for the past 20 years.
