Two railroad crossings outside downtown Lawrenceville will be closed for at least three to four days for maintenance and construction, the city announced.

The CSX crossings at Maltbie and North Clayton streets will close for most of the work week.

The crossings could remain closed longer “depending on weather and other factors beyond human control,” according to Marci Gross, a city spokesperson.

There will be signs marking detours near the closed crossings. Drivers should anticipate a longer commute if those crossings are typically part of their route.
