Gwinnett police investigating fatal single-vehicle crash

Aug 15, 2015Gwinnett County police are investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash near Lilburn.
The crash happened around 3:30 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of U.S. Highway 29 and Pounds Road, Gwinnett County police spokesman Sgt. Brian Doan said. A vehicle struck a “concrete object” and its driver was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene, Doan said.
As of Saturday morning, the driver’s identity had not been released. No further information was immediately available.
