A Lawrenceville Domino’s has failed a routine health inspection, according to Gwinnett County records.

The pizza shop on Highway 29 was cited for multiple violations, including pizza toppings being kept at too warm a temperature and a lack of thermometers in the walk-in cooler and prep cooler, according to the failing report.

An employee was seen handling food without washing his hands after returning from a delivery. Other employees kept open drinks on tables where pizza and chicken bites were being prepared, the report said.

Multiple violations were corrected on-site. Some, such as the lack of thermometers, could not and will be checked when the restaurant is re-inspected.

Re-inspections typically occur within 10 days.

A representative for Domino’s didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
