You now have a new way to get to and from Georgia Gwinnett College.

Gwinnett County Transit buses now include the Lawrenceville campus on a regular bus route, the school said in a Facebook post. Georgia Gwinnett College is part of route 45, which also includes Gwinnett Medical Resource Center and Sugarloaf Mills.

The route runs from 5:50 a.m. to 9:49 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6:50 a.m. to 8:49 p.m. on Saturdays. There is no Sunday service on this route, according to a document from Gwinnett County Transit.

Fares are $2.50 for one-way, $22.50 for a 10-ride ticket book and $80 for a monthly pass. Find more information about the route here.

What to know about Sears at Gwinnett Place Mall closing In May, Sears announced that its location at Gwinnett Place Mall will close. It was deemed one of more than a dozen "non-profitable" stores in the round of closures by the company. In June, a luxury apartment developer purchased the Sears building at Gwinnett Place Mall. Gwinnett County Commissioner Jace Brooks, who represents the area, called the purchase “a very positive move toward meaningful redevelopment” at the mall.
