The Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office is looking for more deputies and civilian workers.

The department will hold a hiring expo on Saturday, April 14. The event will last from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and feature demonstrations from departments including K-9, license plate recognition and the jail tactical team.

Potential applicants only need to bring an ID, but those who are sure they want a job with the department are encouraged to apply before the event so their hiring process can be expedited. The application can be found and filed at gwinnettsheriffjobs.com.

The event will be held at the sheriff’s office headquarters at 2900 University Parkway in Lawrrenceville.
