Grocery drive to help feed 500 families in southwest Atlanta

The Atlanta Community Food Bank and Atlanta Councilwoman Marci Collier Overstreet are partnering to host a grocery distribution drive for 500 families in southwest Atlanta, according to a news release.

The free event will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cascade United Methodist Church, located at 3144 Cascade Road, according to the release.

A delivery service will be provided to seniors who lack transportation, according to the release. Families will need to reserve a spot to pick up the food.
