In response to the Atlanta Fire and Rescue Department serving as front line workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, several companies in the area have sponsored meals for stations in the city. Recently, Georgia Power “adopted” Atlanta Fire Station No. 35 at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

“We wanted to support a local station by providing a meal for them and deliver on our company mantra of being “A Citizen Wherever We Serve,” said Christopher Williams, area manager at Georgia Power.
