GDOT cancels meeting on Ga. 316 interchange in Barrow County
The Georgia Department of Transportation has cancelled a public information meeting on a proposed new interchange at Ga. 316 and Ga. 53 near Winder.
The meeting was to be held at 5 p.m. Tuesday at Midway Christian Church in Winder.
“Very recently some challenges surfaced and the Georgia DOT has elected to work out the details of those challenges so that more accurate information can be presented,” GDOT announced Monday. It pledged to hold another public meeting, though a date has not been determined.
