Gas main break temporarily closes busy downtown streets

A gas main break temporarily closed some downtown Atlanta streets during rush hour Wednesday.
The incident at Mitchell and Mangum streets blocked those roads until about 4:30 p.m. , Atlanta fire Capt. Jolyon Bundrige told the AJC. Martin Luther King Jr. and Centennial Olympic Park drives also were closed.
Units responded to the call just after 3 p.m., an Atlanta Fire Department spokesperson said.
