Furkids opens Alpharetta shelter

Furkids, a nonprofit animal rescue organization, has opened a new shelter at 1520 Union Hill Road, Alpharetta. The 4,900-square-foot shelter houses about 40 rescued dogs that are available for adoption. The organization cares for more than 600 animals in metro Atlanta.
