The Georgia Chapter of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation raised about $300,000 at the 23rd Annual Torch Gala held earlier this month.
The event is the largest fundraiser for the year for the organization and the money will be used to further research, education to improve the lives of people living with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. An estimated 1.5 million Americans live with these diseases.
