After adding three days to this year's school calendar to make up for missed days during Tropical Storm Irma, Fulton County Schools have created and announced the 2018-2019 school calendar.

Assuming Georgia is not greeted with any hurricanes, tornadoes, or surprise snow storms, here are some key dates for the Fulton County school year:

  • The first day of school will be Aug. 6.
  • Thanksgiving Break will be Nov. 19-23.
  • Winter break will begin Dec. 21 and students return to school on Jan. 7.
  • Spring break will be April 1-5.
  • The last day of school will be May 23.
