Frogs, amphibians focus of DeKalb workshop
DeKalb County’s Adopt-A-Stream program will host an amphibian monitoring session this week at the Arabia Mountain Preserve near Lithonia.
There is no charge for the session, which will educate people about water quality and locating frogs and salamanders in local waterways. Participants will receive an instruction manual at the end of the program.
The event is open to the public ages 14 and older. It runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the preserve, 3787 Klondike Road.
