The Forsyth County Water & Sewer Department has released its 2018 Water Quality Report, now available online and being mailed to county water and sewer customers with their paper bills.
Those with paperless billing can go to a website link in their monthly invoices, officials said.
The report, using 2017 data, details where the county’s water comes from, what it contains and how it compares to federal standards. Forsyth County water met all U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Georgia drinking water standards in 2017, officials said.
A digital copy of the report can be downloaded from the Water & Sewer department page at www.forsythco.com ("Latest News" slider on left). Printed copies can be picked up at the Water & Sewer Department office in the County Administration Building, Suite 150, 110 E. Main St., Cumming; or mailed on request by calling 770 781-2160.
