Prospective teachers are invited to Forsyth County’s 2020 Certified Educators Job Fair, an annual event where representatives from all 40 of the district’s schools will be present to discuss opportunities for the 2020-21 school year.

The event is scheduled for 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 29, at South Forsyth High School, 585 Peachtree Parkway, Cumming. To pre-register: https://bit.ly/2uNslmc

"Attendees should bring resumes to distribute and plan to remain as long as they are able so that they may visit as many schools as possible," according to a school district announcement. "This is our primary recruiting event and is for certified positions only (not paraprofessionals)."

The Forsyth County School District enrolls more than 50,600 students and is the largest employer in the county with 7,643 full- and part-time employees and substitutes. Its enrollment has grown more than 200% since 2000, and it plans to open four new schools and a new Academies for Creative Education by 2022. Information: https://www.forsyth.k12.ga.us/jobfairs
