The Forsyth County Public Library announced that all four of its branches will open with adjusted hours beginning Monday.
“We’re so glad to welcome patrons back to the library, but it’s important to understand that the experience of visiting our branches will be different as we practice social distancing and additional sanitation protocols,” given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Library Director Anna Lyle said.
The Cumming, Hampton Park, Post Road and Sharon Forks libraries will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays and Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Fridays, 1 to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays, and 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. Sundays.
Visitors will be able to browse the stacks or use the public computers. They are encouraged but not required to wear masks, and should maintain a six-foot distance from others.
Contact-free curbside pickup services will be available by appointment only from noon to 7 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays. Patrons can schedule pickups online or by calling 770-781-9840.
