The body of a former youth nonprofit director was found in the Chattahoochee River, AL.com reported.

It is not yet clear how 77-year-old Gerald Love of Dothan, Ala., got into the water, the website said, but it’s believed he may have been riding his boat or fishing.

Love was discovered floating in the river about 10 a.m. Wednesday.

He is the former director of Southeast Alabama Youth Services, which provides help to at-risk youth, the website reported.
