There are no beaches in Milton, but that isn’t stopping the city in north Fulton County from partying like they’re at one.

The city’s “Beach Bash” event is returning this year and will be held June 16 from 6 to 10 p.m. at Bell Memorial Park. Food trucks and live music will be featured.

The event is free to the public. Some parking is available, but the city is encouraging guests to walk to the park, or use Uber or Lyft.

"After last year's success, even with the rain, we've made this our signature summer event," Milton's Community Engagement Manager Courtney Spriggs said in a statement. "We’ve added more food trucks, and local Milton musicians will be opening for A1A this year."

A1A is a Jimmy Buffett tribute show. Winners and finalists from “Milton’s Got Talent” will serve as opening acts. The artists will perform on baseball field No. 6 and folks are welcome to gather in the outfield with blankets and chairs.

Food trucks stopping by the event include Patty Wagon, Royal Pig BBQ, Let’s Taco Bout It, King of Pops and Alcohol Heroes. Outside food and beverages are prohibited, but guests can bring their own coolers with water only.

The family-friendly event will also host children’s games and activities, including a bounce house.

Residents and vendors with questions about the event can contact Courtney Spriggs at courtney.spriggs@cityofmiltonga.us.
