Suwanee police were investigating a fatal pedestrian accident early Friday on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard.
The 43-year-old woman from Flowery Branch was struck by a vehicle and killed about 6:30 a.m. while trying to cross Peachtree Industrial north of Suwanee Dam Road near Tench Road, Suwanee police Capt. Clyde Byers told the AJC.
The woman's name was being withheld until relatives could be notified.
The northbound lanes of Peachtree Industrial remained blocked for much of the morning while police investigated the incident. The road reopened around 10:30 a.m.
