Henry County residents can watch fireworks four straight days at five different locations over the July Fourth weekend.

On July 1 and 2, fireworks will be shot off at 9:30 p.m. at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton. On July 3, fireworks can be viewed starting at 9:15 p.m. at Lake Dow and 9:30 at Nash Farms at 4361 Jonesboro Road in Hampton. On July 4, fireworks can be viewed at 9:15 p.m. at Community Bible Church at 2001 Jodeco Road in Stockbridge, 9 to 9:30 p.m. at Lake Spivey and 9:30 p.m. at Nash Farms.

The Nash Farms fireworks will be part of the county’s Georgia Independence Day Festival. The two-day festival at the Civil War battleground will include strolling actors in period costumes, a blacksmith program, children’s activities and entertainment from musicians such as the Dulcet Dames, who sing patriotic songs from World War II.

Admission to the festival is $5, with kids under 5 free. For information, call 770-288-7300 or visit www.hcprd.org.
