Fire destroys 17 units at Stone Mountain apartments

No injuries were reported in a Monday night fire that destroyed a Stone Mountain apartment building.

The blaze destroyed 17 units at the Colony at Stone Mountain Apartments on Chatfield Drive off North Hairston Road.

"We lost everything. We need help," apartment resident James Perry told Channel 2 Action News.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
