Fire damages College Park apartment complex

About 45 people were displaced after a fire damaged an apartment building in College Park on Monday night.
Authorities believe the fire was accidentally sparked by a person cooking in a unit at the Washington Gardens Apartments on Washington Road, Channel 2 said.
About 15 apartments were involved in the fire, but no injuries were reported.
Red Cross volunteers went to the scene to help the residents who were displaced.
