Many of Fayette County’s governmental meetings are being canceled or postponed because of coronavirus precautions, while others will proceed using online streaming only.
The Board of Education’s regular March meeting will held by teleconference at 7 p.m. today, and the public can view the livestream at www.fcboe.org/livestream. The agenda will be posted at https://bit.ly/391TT5F.
The Fayetteville City Council canceled its March 19 meeting and plans to hold its next one at 6 p.m. on April 2; the City Council of Peachtree City and the Tyrone Town Council also plan to convene that evening at 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively. The Fayette County Board of Commissioners has scheduled its next regular meeting for 6:30 p.m. on April 9. The Brooks Town Council canceled its March 16 meeting and plans to meet next at 6:30 on April 20. Agendas for the municipal meetings are posted on their respective websites.
