The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce has elected new officers for its board of directors following its annual meeting earlier this year. Greg Detwiler of Georgia Power will be the 2015 chairman, serving alongside Vice Chairs Trey Ragsdale of Kaiser Permanente and Lee Whetstone of Futurestaff Staffing Services. Kimberly Schnoes of the Peachtree Planning Corporation will be the treasurer. The executive committee also includes Chair-elect Debbie Britt and past chair Michael Burnett, both of Piedmont Fayette Hospital. The rest of the board consists of 15 other local business leaders and three ex-officio members from the community.
