Falcons coach hospitalized
Atlanta Falcons coach Mike Smith is expected to return to Atlanta Monday after doctors in Charlotte checked him for a non-emergency matter, according to the team.
The team told Channel 2 Action News that Smith, 52, suffered chest pains after the Falcons beat the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
The Falcons are 8-5 this season and host the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday night.
