Elisabeth Omilami honored for community work

March 2, 2010Elisabeth Omilami, executive director and CEO of Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless, will be honored by the Galloway School for her community work .
Omilami and Lexi Fields, of the Galloway class of 1998 and a teacher there, will both receive the Harvest Award, which recognizes individuals whose work inspires the human spirit, impact the community and promote change, locally and globally. The event will be held at 6:30 p.m. March 3 at the school's Chaddick Center, 215 West Wieuca Road NW.
Since it's founding in 1971, Hosea Feed the Hungry and Homeless has distributed more than $3 billion in food, clothing, furniture and medical supplies throughout Georgia, the Southeast and overseas.
