Electric vehicle charging station comes to Acworth

Acworth has its first electric vehicle charging station in its downtown area at the Willis Street parking lot off Main Street.

The city set the rates at 65 cents for the first two hours and then $1.50 for every following two hours.

The first two ChargePoint cards are free but $4.95 for each pair of new or replacement cards.

ChargePoint is the world’s largest EV charging network with 26,500 charging spots.
