A county and state lawmakers are teaming up to bring an Easter egg hunt to south DeKalb this weekend.
The “Easter Egg-travaganza” runs from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Wade Walker Park, 5584 Rockbridge Road. County Commissioner Stan Watson and state rep. Billy Mitchell, D-Lithonia, are sponsoring the event.
In addition to the egg hunts for children up to 10 years old, the event features Georgia State University mascot, “Pounce,” as well as face painting, games and snacks.
