The Duluth Police Department is once again reminding residents of one of the easiest ways to avoid a robbery. Recently the department has handled several reports of cars entered into in different areas throughout Duluth. Most were only rummaged through, but some resulted in thefts. The one common factor in most of the cases were that the cars were unlocked.

According to Duluth Police, “Unfortunately, crime will happen - even in Duluth. We must all do our part to reduce crime.”

Residents seeing something suspicious should call 770-476-4151. Only emergencies should call 911.
