If you’re parking in downtown Lawrenceville on Tuesday, there’s one spot you should avoid.

The parking lot at 168 Jackson St. will be in use by a production company filming “The Resident,” a FOX medical drama that regularly films around metro Atlanta. Tuesday’s filming is not taking place downtown, but the lot will be occupied with crew parking, according to the city.

No streets will be closed and traffic is expected to be uninterrupted. Other free parking will remain available, including a downtown parking deck and a lot on Pike and Culver streets.

Downtown Lawrenceville has been a popular location for film and TV projects in the past. Netflix series “Ozark” and DC Comics streaming series “Doom” have filmed in the area in recent years.
