DOT maps show traffic jams in metro Atlanta

Don't be angry if you haven't left the office yet. That likely means you aren't sitting in traffic right now.

Georgia DOT traffic maps are showing red -- reflecting traffic jams on I-85, I-75, Ga. 400 and I-285.

Specifically, the highways are clogged on I-75 and I-85 southbound as they feed into I-285. The Downtown Connector is jammed as well, the map showed just before 7 p.m.
