Door-busting weave thieves sought in Gwinnett
Steal hair, cops care.
Gwinnett County police are asking for the public's help identifying two men they say broke through the front door of a Gwinnett County beauty shop last month, making out with "at least 50 packs of Indiremi virgin hair products" — items commonly known as weaves.
The incident happened around 1 a.m. on May 25 at the Pop Beauty Supply Store on Pleasant Hill Road. The suspects escaped in a white Toyota Tundra pickup truck.
Anyone with information is asked to call Gwinnett police at 770-513-5300. Tipsters can also remain anonymous — and be eligible for rewards of up to $2,000 — by contacting Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS or crimestoppersatlanta.org.
