The Department of Driver Services has launched a redesigned agency website at www.dds.georgia.gov. It has a fresh, contemporary look and is easier for customers to navigate while locating valuable driver’s licensing information, according to officials.
“We consistently urge customers to check our site for the latest information before calling DDS or visiting a licensing center,” said DDS Commissioner Spencer R. Moore. “As more customers are SecureID compliant and eligible to renew their license online, it was necessary to streamline our website to make it easier to navigate.”
Website improvements also include clarifying content and adding consistent navigation at each page header. In addition, the new format is compatible with smartphones and tablets by automatically reformatting to the device being used. The site now accommodates persons with a range of hearing and vision disabilities.
