A kitchen at a DeKalb County country club failed its recent health inspection with officials noting problems with food kept too long and food temperatures.
Druid Hills Golf Club, located at 740 Clifton Road, received a 58/U on the check last week, according to the inspector's report.
Nick Markel, general manager, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution the club is on top of the situation.
"The majority of the issues were...administrative items which we corrected on the spot," he said Wednesday. "We have a training scheduled with the health department next week.”

The inspector docked points after seeing fish being cooked in a "non-continuous cooking process." The fish was seared and allowed to cool down to be finished at a later time, which wasn't allowed under the kitchen's permit.
A number of food products, such as cheesecakes, red pepper curry and an egg-based sauce, were kept too long, the report said.
Markel is counting on a better score when the kitchen is inspected again, likely next week.
“We’ve always had good scores,” he said.
The scores received over the past two years are 81, 90, 76 and 97, according to the health department.
