Decomposed body found in southwest Atlanta
Police Monday afternoon were investigating the discovery of a body found in southwest Atlanta.
Atlanta police Sgt. Curtis Davenport told the AJC that the decomposed body was found shortly after noon Monday near the corner of Peeples Street and Lucile Avenue.
The gender and approximate age of the remains have not been determined.
